What's a Buddy List?
With your Buddy List you can add friends you have made through SHOE to a personal list. This enables you to see if your buddy is currently online and send her a private message.
The Buddy List also allows you to send one message to all your buddies at the same time.
You may add any user to your SHOE Buddy List by clicking on "Send Budy Request" just below the profile photo on her nickpage.
Depending on her personal settings, you will be added immediately to her Buddy List or she needs to authroize your request first.
We offer two different types of Buddies: Virtually known and personally known. Obviously, please use "personally known" only if you have actually met this user in person. Other SHOEs rely on you!
This is where you can select your personal settings:

- Manage Profile
- Settings
- Privacy
- Buddy List: Authorization required?
- Click on YES or NO
When clicking NO, any user wishing to be your Buddy will be added to your list without any further notice.
