My photo / picture file size is too large to upload. How can I resize it?

When you try to upload photos and you get an error message that says the file size is too large...you need to reduce the photo size first, then attempt to upload.

Use photo editing software like MS Paint or Photoshop on your computer to reduce the size of the photo, then re-save it as a .jpg (JPEG) image. Try to upload the photo again on shoe.org

Other Websites you can use to downsize your image:

For instance: www.vso-software.fr or www.shrinkpictures.com

Hint:

Change the resolution / quality directly in your camera:

Resolution max. 1024 x 768 Pixel. Optimal is 640 x 480 Pixel
